TPM Consulting GmbH has come into being from German Gepec GmbH. GEPEC AG was set up as consulting business enterprise for the Health-Care industry in Zurich, Switzerland in 1976. After that the foundation of GEPEC GmbH in Germany by Dr. Gehrig and Hans R. Thönnessen was carried out. Both had been working successfully as responsible managers in international pharmaceutical companies. In 1990 Hans R. Thönnessen took GEPEC GmbH and the name was changed in TPM Consulting GmbH.
Besides staff recruitment TPM Consulting GmbH is also active as a classic management consultancy for the enterprises of the Health-Care industry.

About Hans R. Thönnessen, Rolf Haker, Dr. Gottstein und Anja Fries

Hans R. Thönnessen

Hans R. Thönnessen, managing director of TPM-Consulting GmbH, started with his approximately 30-year professional way in the Health-Care industry at Boehringer Mannheim pharmaceutical group as a management assistant and in the consequence's senior head of department marketing and sale. The reorganizations of the marketing structures and the development of a worldwide sales information system became substantially co-formed by him. After that he took the management marketing and sale for Germany of an American pharmaceutical company and after that he became a managing partner of an IMS subsidiary firm. There he was decisively involved in the development of the patient centered databases like Medibase, Mediplus etc. used in the pharmaceutical industry and market research instruments worldwide today. Accompanying the enterprise to its success within the first few years, he is the managing director of the GEPEC/TPM and in this function he had substantially influence on the construction of the German INNOVEX since 1990.
He advised the TEVA/Hoechst at the national and international marketing of Copaxone, represented the Pharmaceutical/Biotech Region Montreal international for Europe as a senior and carried out a variety of marketing seminars in different European countries. Thönnessen is coauthor of 'Innovative Pharmaceutical Marketing', publisher Raffe, Dichtl, and has written numerous articles for marketing magazines.

Rolf Haker

Rolf Haker has more than 30 years of management experience on the diagnostics and biotechnology sector. After his research activity in the pharmaceutical industry he took on the management of a company producing laboratory instruments for Boehringer Mannheim (now Roche). He was the managing director of Flow laboratories, Germany and Aldrich Chemicals, Europe. He is member of the VDGH(German Association of Diagnostic Manufacturers), where he actively participates on several national committees. Moreover, since 1991 he has managed his own consulting company that specializes in marketing & sales consulting where he lends management support to a number of small internationally healthcare companies. With his management experience Mr. Haker is an active member of several supervisory boards of companies.

Based on his experience of more than 30 years as top-manager in life sciences companies, he has a well developed network, enabling him to set up cooperations with potential costumers, offer new ideas and mange success-oriented organisational structures.

Anja Fries

Anja Fries, checked management assistant, has been working in the personnel administration for several years. She was an employee in a law firm and management secretary in a medium-sized enterprise before.
